Letter from Sue Hedley
Dear Nikki
I hope you are well and that the world of football is running smoothly and calmly! It was great to speak to you and as discussed I would be very grateful if you would forward this email for me to all the club managers and parents who so very kindly donated to the Liver Foundation Trust in memory of my wonderful Simon. I have received a letter today to confirm that over £2000.00 has been sent to the trust which is so amazing and I know will be used wisely in continued research. I also wanted to thank everyone who sent letters of condolences and support to Jake and I, we have received so many all saying such lovely things, I am sure he had no idea of the amount of lives he touched through his football work and these together with the lovely book that Nikki has put together for us with everyone's thoughts, memories and wishes have given us tremendous comfort at what is such a difficult time. So really its a huge THANK YOU from us you have all been so kind and we hope that the league continues to expand and gives all children that want to play football in the true spirit of the game the opportunity to enjoy their sport. Simon was so dedicated to ensuring this and he really enjoyed his work with you all making so many great friends along the way.
With our Kindest Regards and Very Best Wishes
Sue and Jake Hedley
