DAN DESPERATE TO BALL JUGGLE FROM WEMBLEY TO OLD TRAFFORD - FOR UNICEF!

Local world record-breaking freestyler Dan Magness who joined us at Northmead for the Club's 10th anniversary celebrations last summer, has taken on a 200-mile challenge to raise money for UNICEF. Dan will be ball juggling all the way from Wembley (this Tuesday), aiming to reach Old Trafford next Thursday. When he reaches the finish line he will havebroken the word record for the longest distance travelled while juggling a football, keeping it in the air using his feet, knees and head. The challenge will see him performing 'keepy uppies' for 11 hours a day, some days covering distances of 25 miles. Worplesdon Rangers FC wish Dan the best of luck (and some good weather) with this endeavour. If anyone would like to support Dan and help him reach his fund-raising target for UNICEF, you can donate by visiting www.mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/danmagness

Mini-Soccer vs 11-a-side

MATCH POSTPONED - WATERLOGGED PITCH

This is a fundraising event coupled with an exhibition of mastery, skills, grit, and determination as two teams (with combined ages higher than the Chelsea Salary Bill) battle it out over 90 minutes when really most of them should know better.

Last year the Mini-Soccer Team won 4-1, so the 11-a-side team will be looking for a win. Please come and support your coach/manager/Dad/husband/son and their team.
