Under 8's - Warriors
The under 8's Warriors are coached by Dan Wheatley. The team takes part in regular friendlies (7-a-side).
Training takes place on Saturday mornings at Northmead School, 10 - 11:30. Home matches
are played at Stoughton School.
Please see the club notice board at Northmead on Saturdays for news and opportunities
to help or speak with your son/daughters managers.
There are two "Warrior" teams due to the ever
increasing numbers of players registering at present. The teams play alternate weeks so not
every weekend is taken up by football, this seems to work well (especially with the parents). If we
are short we ask the parents of the team who are not playing that week
if their son/daughters can fill any spaces. Usually a squad
of 10 is taken to each game with some rotation of subs.
Training is held at:

IMPORTANT NOTES WHEN PLAYING AT STOUGHTON INFANTS SCHOOL
Parents must ensure that children are not to play in the sand pit / pond area
or willow dome.
All of the remaining play equipment may be used but children must be supervised
by an adult. It is important that we abide by these simple rules to ensure
that we can continue to use the facility.
No smoking within the school grounds.
No dogs within school grounds.
Also, at the next home game we will introduce a line of cones adjacent to the
sideline to ensure that all supporters are approx. 1m back therefore giving
the players enough room to play.
