Club officials code of conduct
- Set a positive example for others, particularly young players and supporters.
- Promote and develop his or her own team, having regard for the interests of
the players, and supporters.
- Avoid, and discredit any form of gamesmanship
- Do not use or accept inappropriate language at any time
- Do not smoke when working with children
- Make every effort to develop the sporting, technical, and tactical levels
of the team, and obtain the best results for the team with the rules of the
game.
- Give priority to the interests of the team over individual interests.
- Promote ethical principals and resist all illegal or unsporting influences
- Accept the decision of the match official without protest
- Avoid words or actions which may mislead a match official
- Show respect towards the match official
- Respect the rights of every individual and treat them with equality
- Fully endorse the Clubs Child protection Policy
- Follow all the guidelines as set out by the governing body
- Place the well being and safety of the player above all other considerations.
- Form a working relationship with players, based on trust, honesty and respect.
bullet - Provide a safe environment that maximizes benefits and mitigates risk to
all players in achieving their goals.
- Do not inflict physical punishment.
- Do not act out your own aspirations. Make sure all coaching activities are
suitable for the age and ability of the player. Develop young people to be
responsible for their own actions.
- Promote fair play and uphold the laws of the game. Display high standards
of behavior.
- Develop and seek to maintain technical and coaching qualifications.
- All coaches and managers must hold the FA Level one or plan to within in the
immediate future.
- Always discuss a disagreement with other coaches with the Club officials before
taking action yourself.
- As with any of the Clubs code of conducts, in isolation, they are of nominal value. To underpin their concepts we must continue to train and develop our understanding of the issues concerned.
